Regional Encounters

Each year there are both a Spring and Fall Encounter held somewhere in our Region. These Encounters are open to any and all Cursillistas!

What happens at an Encounter? We pray, listen to talks, discuss and of course we eat...as always in Cursillo, we eat!!!! An Encounter is one of the few times that all the language groups come together in a Region and it is a wonderful time to get to know Catholics around the Region.

The Fall Encounter is held in October and the Spring Encounter is held in April each year.

Before you know it, it will be time for our Fall 2016 Encounter hosted by the Diocese of Charlotte, NC Cursillo. The Encounter will be held October 28-29, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy., Charlotte, NC 28277. The weekend starts Friday night with dinner at 6:00 PM. More information will be available soon.
